Mary Beth Boone The linocut images in this book are a tribute to the mountains and forests I frequently visit in North Carolina and Virginia. My father’s home place still remains on the side of a mountain in Boone’s Mill, Virginia. I often look at photographs of his old house and remember visiting there as a child. The book measures 3.75”x6”x5/8” closed and 3.75”x6”x5” opened. A variable edition of 2, this is #1. Block prints on handmade papers, tea dyed Rives BFK, cotton fabric, thread, transfer prints, milk paint on papyrus, mica, and waxed linen were used. 2009.
