Liz Conley The Traveler and The Bird-Maiden is an original fairy tale told both in text and graphically. The story is about a traveler who pauses on his journey to help a bird-maiden. Her heart is broken, preventing her from shifting back to her bird form and taking to the sky. The Traveler manages to piece it back together, making it possible for her to transform once again so that they both can continue on their journeys. 8.5 by 11 inches when closed, opens to 41.5 by 11 inches. Written, illustrated and letterpress printed by the artist text set in Blackwood Castle and Baskerville. Edition of 100, 1-10 set aside as deluxe.
