Artist Statement
Me & Jackie O contains three narratives which can be read together or separately. The first story set in Frutiger Bold and printed on translucent paper, concerns President and Mrs. Kennedy and their family’s public life. Underneath, on opaque paper, set in Trump Mediaeval, is the second narrative that traces the development of a child’s innocent acceptance of her parent’s values regarding the Kennedy family, to her subsequent obsession with Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. When the translucent and opaque pages are read together, a third narrative is produced, detailing the coexistence of the two families.
