At night, light expresses itself in a magical way as it plays off the scene in front of you. The challenge is to see beyond the apparent in order to produce an image that captures the movement of light at that moment in time. The resulting image produces an element of surprise that can be intriguing. I hope you enjoy my moment of magic.
Artist Biography
As a photographer, Colleen Hoyt began shooting in the 1960’s with her mother’s Kodak Brownie camera, graduating to a SLR in the 1970’s. Colleen lives and works in Portland, Oregon and primarily photographs in the Pacific Northwest, Arizona, and California.
