Artist Statement

Before teaching, before graduate school, before knowing who I was as an artist, I ran away with the “The Franzini Family Vaudeville Variety Comedy Circus” for a wild wonderfully eventful year. We traveled half way around the world making people laugh and gasp. During that time with the circus I was a goofy clown and magician. My secret: The time spent with the traveling circus taught me my skills as a professor.
