Artist Statement

Most of my work investigates contemporary issues and events in a visually expressive manner through collage, bookmaking, letterpress printing, and graphic compositions. Much of my previous work has involved a “designer as reporter approach.” This work sought to increase the expressive quality of news and events dissemination through the use of collage, bookwork, and interactive flash compositions.

My current work is more introspective as I account for the changing world around me. This work is entitled, “The Changing Landscape.” The ideas involved in this new body of work examine my own personal life and continues to extend outward responding to the changing environmental, social, and cultural changes in the world.
