In 2003, I traveled from Brooklyn, NY, where I was getting my MFA, to Denver, CO, where I am from, before leaving for Venice Italy for a six week study abroad program. 22 Nights in Denver is an attempt to record a brief and turbulent period of time by giving a snapshot of what happened each night. This book investigates the relationship between factual knowledge and the mystery that happens between two people that cannot be defined or explained with information.
Artist BiographyBorn in Colorado, Sember Weinman moved to Brooklyn to receive her MFA in painting from Pratt Institute. She currently lives in Sleepy Hollow, NY and runs the education program at Lehman College Art Gallery in the Bronx.
