Medium: Bookcloth bound gate fold enclosure, with emboss/deboss, for a stack of archival inkjet prints on Arches hot press watercolor paper. Endpapers were screenprinted in 3 passes on laid paper. Stack of prints was double hole punched and is held in place with a 2-hole fastener and protective brass stationary washers.

Artist Statement

This book work explores a decades old rock collection by means of a poem in three voices, linking a human past and a personal present to the existence of gathered fragments of the universe. It presents evidence, parses scientific data and is at once a fiction and momentary biography.
