Blue Midnight

A little past midnight, I walk down empty sidewalks and explore the once familiar. Cool air pushes me forward as I stroll in and out of pooled halos of light. Large black trees loom overhead, their twisting bare branches scratching the inky blue sky. The lure of adventure drives me onward. Out of the night a gaping black passageway appears, beckoning to the curious and bold. Down the dormant street emerge buildings that hours before were bustling with life, and now sit quiet. Wandering through the shadowy and mysterious nightscapes, I invite you to join me and experience the urban splendor of the blue midnight.
