Site Readings

Combines photos and text fragments collected within the downtown region of a North American city. The various found visual/verbal discourses were deliberately removed from their original contexts (the street) and re-combined into graphic spaces (the book). Through their reconfigured relationships, they draw attention to the social narratives, logical contradictions, and poetic juxtapositions that are part of the pedestrian experience of an urban environment.
