35mm Film Canister Pinhole Camera Images

As a B & W photography teacher, I saved hundreds of empty 35mm film canisters in a box, thinking that someday I’d do something with them. One day I popped off the end caps and flattened them to make a surface to which I could glue an image and make into a book. Images were made from a pinhole camera made from the plastic film containers.

Accordion book made of flattened 35mm film canister pages. Images taken with a 35mm plastic film container converted into a pinhole camera and laser printed. Pages taped together with Scotch Brand black masking tape. 3.25 x 1.63 x 1.38 inches, opens out to 36 inches long. 2001. Edition of 10.
