Falling Leaves

This limited edtion tunnel book is a 3-dimensional book that the viewer looks into, with four panels of colorful fall leaf images on transparent support to allow the viewer to see through all panels getting a real feeling of the depth of the falling leaves. The inside covers have two cut out leaves that hold the title page, a leaf poem, and a colophon. These photos were taken in New England in the fall. Like most of her books, Jill wanted to share that experience with you, the viewer.

Tunnel book, archival ink digital prints on acetate pages, magnet closure. 5.5 x 7.5 x .375 inches. 2005. Edition of 100.

Jill Timm is a full time, award winning, book artist focusing on small editions of handcrafted books, often using interesting structures and non-typical materials to convey the essence of the place or subject. With a varied background in graphic design, photography, teaching, and marketing, Jill's Mystical Places Press has work in many corporate, university, public and private collections worldwide.
